Très beau musée a visiter qui présente les vestiges de l'époque gallo/romaine. Si vous êtes un passionné d'archéologie et ou d'histoire cet endroit est fait pour vous. Vous pouvez visitez cet endroit seul, en famille ou avec vos amis. Il y a des toilettes et deux ascenseurs. A l'extérieur, vous pourrez admirer un magnifique théâtre antique. Je recommande donc ce lieu pour sa beauté et son instruction.

Wasn't sure what to expect when walking in but this was an amazingly informative museum. It traced the history of Lyon very well and presented all the artifacts with great details. Expect to spend at least 2 hours if you want to read everything and a lot of it is in English too. Highly recommend not skipping this.

This was a fantastic museum for anyone with even a slight interest in history. Focused on the Roman Empire and how they founded what is now Lyon back in 43BC. The building itself is amazing. You street at the top which is basically chrome level and you work your way down over 5 levels. Plenty of space and really easy to move around. So many pieces to look at. I was surprised at how well preserved many of them were. Some good interactive sections specifically for kids were also good to see. We got an entry included in our Lyon city pass but considering the size of the museum the entry price is very good. Well worth going to see when you head up to the Basilica.

In a word: stunning. The museum holds many very important works of art from the early Roman Empire, some without parallel anywhere else. Admission is free for students and seniors, and for all others, the ticket cost is low. Audio guides are free and available in many languages. The museum itself, carefully hidden inside a hill, is a marvel of modern architecture. This should be a thorough visit because the collections are very extensive.

Very nice museum. The building itself is very interesting, built like a bunker. The contents are also very interesting there are a lot of really amazing artifacts. They have a lot of kid stuff so it seems to be one of the most family friendly museums I have seen. Would highly recommend visiting. Water fountain with nice cold water on the 5th floor
