Lyon Private Tours

We booked a 4h wine tour in the Northern Rhône Valley and had an amazing experience. A big thank you to Jérémie, who introduced us to the region’s rich history and organized tastings at two very different wineries. The first was a small, authentic family-run estate, while the second was a large, internationally renowned producer. Jérémie is an attentive and engaging guide, always ready to answer any question. We had a great day touring Annecy and also another day the Beaujolais Region with Lyon Private Tours. The tour guide was friendly knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We felt very safe with him driving. It was a great way to enjoy our day without worrying about driving ourselves or navigating with the train schedules we highly recommend

Jérémie was awesome! Very knowledgeable and polite. We really enjoyed the trip to the Beaujolais region. We stopped at Oingt for a little history of the region then then on to a vineyard tour at Domaine de Fond-Vieille. Highly recommend!

Had two wonderful tours. One with Jeremie in Lyon and one with Jorge in Perouges. Their knowledge of history and stories about the region were fascinating. They offered a lot of help to us about restaurants and things to do as well as taking care to get us where we needed while being absolute gentleman. Had the best time on two tours! One day my family went to the Côte du Rhône with one of the guides Nathalie, and it was incredible. Beautiful countryside, excellent lunch, and delicious wine. It was special to be able to go to a small winery and learn directly from the winemaker. Nathalie is extremely kind and knowledgeable about Lyon, particularly food and wine! Then the next day we went on a tour with Jeremie to Beaujolais and fell in love with it. The most stunning rolling hills I’ve ever seen, amazing wines, and a surreal medieval village we were blessed to walk through. Jeremie is very kind and intelligent, and has excellent relationships with many local winemakers which makes for really special tours! He’s studied history so he had excellent knowledge to share about the local landscape, villages, and vineyards. Cannot recommend these tours enough! And October was a beautiful time of year to visit with the vineyards beginning to turn their leaves - Jeremie described it as "fields of flame".

The tours with Lyon Tours were great ! My guide Jorge Luis did an amazing job .. he is very knowledgeable in history , gastronomy , wine etc . He was very accommodating , respectful and professional . I strongly recommend him

Jeremy Boyer is a professional tour guide. He is charming, extremely handsome, and wonderfully talented in his wine knowledge. He brought is to his friend, Dominique's, Vinyard and translated the growning and harvesting process as it was being explained in French by his friend. Everything is done by hand! "Mascot" the wine grower's dog, was full of fun as he preformed among the vines! We had a lovely wine tasting (White, Rose, and Red), and were gifted the wine we preferred. I would highly recommend him for any of your tour needs!
